Hampshire County Council have been working with Minerals & Waste Planning Authorities who have a statutory responsibility to prepare and maintain an up-to-date Minerals and Waste Local Plan.

 

A draft plan has been prepared and a notice of consultation issued with the purpose of engaging with the community.    The consultation ends on 31 January 2023.

 

During the period of consultation there will be public exhibitions, with the most local one being Forest Arts Centre on Tuesday 13 December from 4pm to 7pm.

 

Residents are encouraged to get involved and share their thoughts on the future of minerals and waste in Hampshire.
