The Town Council are leading an event on the Recreation Ground, Whitefield Road to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.

 

The family friendly event will centre around a large screen displaying the televised coverage, and have musical acts and performances before and after. The event date is Saturday 6 May 2023 and we envisage family and friendship groups to come together in this ideal space to witness the momentous occasion. Food, drink and activities for children will be available, and you are welcome to bring a picnic if you prefer.

 

We will advertise the start time nearer the day once we know the ceremony and lead up time.

Meetings are held during the day at the Town Hall.
