It gets said many times, but it is true, we are lucky to live in New Milton! We enjoy easy access to the amazing New Forest National Park and enjoy the outstanding beauty of our coastline.

 

And we can’t forget the added bonus ……… enjoying live music performances outdoors on the Recreation Ground on a summer’s afternoon, considered one of life’s little pleasures in New Milton!

 

This summer, residents and visitors were treated to musical performances provided by the Christchurch Royal British Legion Band, coinciding with the D-Day 80 Anniversary in June, followed by popular local bands, Total Madness in August, and Groovemeister in September. All three performances were fantastic, and friends, families, neighbours, and visitors gathered to make the most of summer.

 

New Milton Town Council have a small budget to host these free to attend music afternoons and were delighted to receive donations from local organisations New Milton Residents Association, Innovus UK, Bethel House Care Home and Swift Landscaping and Fencing. This support is greatly appreciated as it goes towards the performance fees, and helping to provide quality live music and a high-definition sound system.
